 Hasttvam garments are made from pure, homegrown Indian cotton that is handspun and handwoven on traditional looms. Each piece is hand-printed using intricately carved wooden blocks and dyed in natural, plant-based colours often created by the artisans themselves. The process is slow, intentional, and thoughtful: the fabrics are sun-dried, hand-finished, and developed over several months to ensure depth, quality, and character. In addition to natural cotton, the label also explores the use of semi-synthetic sustainable fibers like modal, always prioritizing textiles that are ethically sourced and environmentally considerate. Their fabric-first approach ensures that each garment not only feels good on the skin but also treads lightly on the planet.
