The Kutch work in many ways, reflects the divergent arts of India through its colours, embellishments and motifs. This bag is made from traditional old embroideries named Jat Fakiraani made by a tribe who have descended from Medina in Arabia. This embroidery is done by the local women of Banni village in Kutch. The patch of bead embroidery attached to the centre of the bag, has been made by Afghan refugee women residing in New Delhi and antique metal beads attached around the bead embroidery were taken from vintage Junk tribal jewellery to give this bag an authentic vintage look. The sling is made of an old Banjaran belt and the side beaded tassels are the old bracelets of tribal women which were used to add a pinch to the bag. The slight irregularities or imperfections are the add to beauty of the bag making each piece one of its kind. This bag is 13.5 inches in length and 10.5 inches in width.**
