The Kutch work in many ways, reflects the divergent arts of India through its colours, embellishments and motifs. The bag is made from traditionally old embroidery named Jat-Fakiraani made by a tribe who have descended from Medina in Arabia. This embroidery is done by the local women of Banni village in the Kutch district. The patch of bead embroidery is attached to the centre of the bag and has been made by Afghan refugee women residing in New Delhi. The antique metal beads attached around the bead embroidery were taken from vintage Junk tribal jewelries to give this bag an authentic vintage look. The sling of the bag is made of an old Banjaran belt and the side beaded tassels are the old tribal bracelets which were used to add a pinch to the bag. The side fringes are made from the recycled leather scraps which are collected from different factories in Gurgram. The slight irregularities or imperfections add to the beauty of this handmade piece, making it one of its kind. The Bodhi Bag is 13.5 inches in length and 10.5 inches in width.**
